Hey, I'm all for good food, but

...some of y'all are insufferably snotty.

I gotta agree with the first person who said the truth---HALFWAY through the list: American cheese and white bread, dude. I would also suggest the addition of a slice o' ham, and some good tomatoes. It's a thing of beauty.

But the people who insist upon 3 different kinds of artisanal cheeses, layered in a specific pattern? WHO do they think they ARE?

It's a sandwich, ok?

I'm with you...but with TWO slices of American cheese! YUM!

And don't forget the soup!

Best comfort food ever.

Sorry, I LOVE great artisanal cheeses! Or real cheddar! Those cheese food slices creep me out!

Brie anyone?

What the hell is artisanal cheese?

But I do have to say that I love that D'Italiano bread for grilled cheese! Nom Nom Nom

Oh... Okay. Dictionaries help. I like Muenster and Brie occasionally, but nothing says comfort like K-R-A-F-T.

I got that jingle in your head now, don't I?

I'm with Mom of Three AND Sue...Two slices of K-R-A-F-T. Plus I'm down with any thing slapped between two pieces of bread with REAL Mayo. If you gonna make a sandwich MAKE A SANDWICH!

I don't know what artisanal cheeses are and as a result, I just threw up a little bit in my mouth.

I'm probably insufferably snotty, but only where food is concerned. I like mine with swiss on sourdough with mayonnaise inside and a ton of butter outside. And if that's not snotty, then one time I made them that same way only with pesto & tomato...

I like any cheese though, except for that orange stuff that comes wrapped up in the plastic (told you - snotty). So I'd probably like the artisanal stuff too, though I never had it that way.
