God Bless Sam Walton

We are expecting 16-24 inches of snow tonight, followed by heavy ice and high winds, and more snow on Tuesday. In other words, we are expecting to be snowed in for the next week. The storm has not even started, and school is canceled for the day. People are calling it "snowpocalypse".

Just, you know, shoot me now.

I just went to Wal-Mart (which was amazingly well-stocked, and packed at 6:30 am as if it were mid-day).

I bought snack foods, for people who are going to be cranky.
I bought soft foods, for Son #2 who still can't quite chew.
I bought healthy foods, so we don't all turn into Violet Beauregard.
I bought bottled water, should we lose use of the well.
I bought things that do not require cooking, should we lose electricity.

Basically, I bought everything. Want proof? Here ya go.

Where's the beer?

Ha, yeah. Actually, our WalMart does not sell beer. But I did stand in line thinking, "All we need here is a bottle of whiskey". GMTA

That's interesting. PA has screwy laws about beer. Only buy at a distributor, by the case, or the six packs can be bought (no more than two at a time) as 'carry out' from a bar. Everything else is in state-licensed liquor stores. Strange, huh?

Whiskey... mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. hehehe

Thanks for the offer, and I'm sure some of my male readers will be more than happy to scoot on over, but...trust me...you are not at all what I seek.

Don't worry about the beer. I've been letting some stuff mature for awhile now. You'd be amazed at how easy it is to turn things into alcohol.

Oh Christine... you want to delete the comment by the 打麻將 person ASAP... he is why I turned on comment moderation on my photoaddictshowcase.blogspot.com blog... each of those tiny periods is a link to a different porn site (sussed out by accidentally clicking just ONE of them and then looking at the links of the rest)... once he finds you... he keeps posting from time to time... comment moderation traps him and rids you of his porn!

And now to comment about the post itself... good for you stocking up on food. I think we are good for at least a week without venturing to the store... EXCEPT for orange juice so I may be walking out tomorrow in search of some. As for the other... if we have to miss Joshua Bell at Strathmore Tuesday night because of this CRAP... I'm going to be seriously bummed out. (two stupid words to add to the list... tesse and calsh)
