Mixed Feelings

Today while sitting in the lobby of the local high school, I saw:

A trophy for the school's "Academic Top Dawg" Champion.

A girl (14? 15?) coming to school with a Dora the Explorer backpack...and an infant.

I just, um, well, I...

Like I said, my feelings are decidedly mixed.
