Who's that musician?
Son #1 wore this shirt to school today. He's a musician, and a huge fan, just like Hubby.
An African-American classmate saw the shirt and said, "Bob Marley? You don't know anything about black people."
Son #1's response? "I know enough about black people to know this is Jimi Hendrix."

Ha! Good for him!
Bloody brilliant!
I'm so glad it was Hendrix, because that's who I thought it was on first glance and I was afraid I was wrong. Good for your son! My kinda response...snarky and to the point!
That school impresses me more and more with each story you tell.
Bawahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Boo-yah!
How perfect! That couldn't have been fun for his attacker. :-0
Dahahaha! I knew who it was!
Jill-Apparently the guy came back with "Uh, well, ok, but I don't like black people who act white."
So, I guess, Son #1 doesn't know anything about black people except the fake kind who become famous because they are outrageously talented.
Also, as a side note, he wore a second Hendrix shirt to school 2 days ago and three people complimented him on his Bob Marley t-shirt.
I'm sorry, but THOSE 2 MEN LOOKED NOTHING ALIKE. TRULY.
I told him to wear a Bob Marley shirt, just to see how many people think it is Jimi Hendrix.
OK - this is really funny... maybe he should go for a Ziggy Marley shirt?
