The word you're looking for is "Distinguished"

Hubby just noticed, this morning, that he has a few grey hairs.

Let us all hold cyberhands and pray that Hubby has the good sense to know that a man can look damn good, with a few grey hairs. Or even a lot of them. Dying your hair is for women--women prissier than Christine. If he starts covering HIS grey, I just may have to do the same, in order to not look like his aunt, or something.

I just don't know I have the energy for all that maintenance.

I am tempted to point out every sexy grey-haired man I see, but I think maybe that would come across less as encouragement for him to Embrace His Sexy Middle Years and more as "Gee, Christine sure does spend a lot of time checking out other men."

There is no future in that.

So, let me just state for the record that grey is not a dealbreaker. Grey can be The Hotness. There's plenty of play for Mr. Grey. OK? Now come on over here, baby, and give Auntie Christine a kiss...

I think your DH would look delightful with a touch of grey....distinguised and handsome. Tell him I said so. I know he'll be impressed!

I always say that it is sooooooooooooooo unfair that men look better and better with gray hair and we just end up looking like...aunties. :-( :-( :-( Dyed hair on men, definitely icky. Well, there might be some men out there where you can't tell their hair is dyed, but generally - ick! I'm still plucking my gray hairs individually 'cause I don't think I could do all that maintenance either.

Men do seem to gray in nicely - starts at the temples and all that. Very orderly. Women seem to sprout out all over.

When I was younger I thought I'd just cut my hair and not worry about coloring. Then my mom's hair got very gray (in her 50s) and she has a very youthful face.

I realized that if she colored her hair she'd look much younger and so I began taking her out to the salon (like once every 8 months, not exactly a lot) and dang if she doesn't look at least 10 years younger.

Now I'm thinking I may end up coloring my hair when the time comes! Not high on my list currently but hey, looking years younger??

Most men I know aren't worried about grays - they are more thinking about keeping the hairs they have.

What I noticed is that men don't like the signs of aging any more than women. Seeing gray hairs, slower recovering from sports injuries, it can bum them out. I tend to want to say, "You're a guy, what's your problem?" but oops, that's a bit insensitive and sexist!
